See what is free on those dates before you say yes.

Sklado is rental planning software for companies that rent event and AV equipment to organisers and producers. It keeps the stock list, answers availability per date range and runs the warehouse from a phone. It is planning and stock, not a rental back office: no quotes or invoices in the first version, and we say so up front.

Three things Sklado does for a rental company

Availability with conflicts, not a stock count
Every booking holds equipment for a date range, transport and set-up days included. When a request comes in, Sklado shows what is free on those dates, minus what other jobs already hold, and names the job that is in the way. The timeline shows which jobs overlap and what they compete for.
Shortages and sub-rental, visible
When a job is short of gear, note it as to be sub-rented or bought. The gap stays on the job until it is covered, instead of living in someone's head or in a chat thread.
Packing lists and scan-based check-out
Standard sets and packages are kits, so the packing list writes itself. Check gear out by scanning it and the list ticks off. Check it back in on return; what did not come back stays visible as missing until it is found or written off. Condition and damage go on the piece.

Also

  • Crew and vehicles booked per job on the same calendar, with their own limits.
  • QR labels, locations across several warehouses, stocktake of a rack or a hall by phone.
  • Low-stock alerts for consumables, overdue returns, jobs that are close and still short.
  • History and utilisation: which gear earns its place and which never leaves the shelf.

Honest about scope

The first version has no quotes, invoices, payments or online booking. If your current tool does those well, keep it for the money side and use Sklado for planning and stock. If quotes and invoices come to Sklado, they come as a module for rental companies, not as a fourth tier.

Comparing with Rentman or Current RMS?

Sklado is smaller on purpose. It is priced per workspace with no per-user fees, so every warehouse worker and crew member can have a login without changing the bill. It has no accounting module, and it is meant to be set up in an afternoon. A side-by-side comparison page is in preparation.

Pricing

Rental companies that plan fit the Pro tier: the calendar with availability and conflicts, kits, jobs and packing lists. Add crew and vehicle planning with Agency. One flat monthly price per workspace.
